Great news everyone, the Hoody Hoo Throwdown has hammered out most of the details for our second event, which will happen July 5th in conjunction with the 47 Camp Ride, a revival of the famed Hollister Rally.
For this event we plan to launch from a location TBD in the San Jose, California area, sending riders zig-zagging through the Santa Cruz Mountains for some amazing views and a chance to win more prizes, all while helping an awesome cause.

We will again support the Veterans Charity Ride for this event, and we will run another silent auction at the Bolado Park campgrounds, where our ride will finish. Because the campground will already be in full swing with vendors, food, and music, we can get maximum eyeballs on the auction items while the ride is happening. But don’t worry, the auction will stay open for a few hours after we roll in so you have a chance to bid on any items that that catch your eye.

Monster Energy is back onboard with not only cool auction items, but they will be donating product to be sold during the rally, with 100% of sales going to the Veterans Charity Ride. We also have the continued support of Biltwell Inc. who will be providing prizes and swag to Hoody Hoo Throwdown riders.

Previous attendees are also reminded that their points from each event will be tallied up for year-end prizes TBD. Our goal is to finish out the year with a Throwdown in the Los Angeles/ Orange County area in November, with one possible event in between, in the Lake Tahoe area.

We are hammering out details with several more sponsors and will announce our partners at a later date, but for now make sure you are following our page on Facebook, and check there for the official event page with links to registration.
Speaking of registration, in order to build more awareness for the Veterans Charity Ride’s mission, we are lowering our registration price to $39 (previously $69) to get more people onboard with the ride and our unique way of having fun.

So mark your calendars for July 5 and take a look at the many other attractions the 47 Camp Ride has to offer during the July 4-7 rally. The surrounding area is full of great riding, and cool events will be happening at the campground, in town, at the local Indian dealer, as well as at Corbin Saddle‘s shop. We will be launching our own dedicated event page soon with more information about our event and the rally as a whole so get your bike tuned up and your navigation skills sharpened!
